Velckro put out this flyer for Stardust in Madrid. There's a certain depth and mysticism to the front grabber image that will not only pull in the sober, but especially the kids walking around the wee hours of the morning.
I saw Darren Grealish's trippy posters a few weeks ago at the Downtown LA Art Walk, and needless to say, his work speaks for itself. Some are 70s or disco inspired, others just dirty and gritty, but all of his flyers share his unique touch and lively typography.
Not a bad flyer for this year's Earth Dance-- Although undoubtedly cramped, but simple justification and curvature can make some difference with the type. The main eye candy lies behind the title.
Flyer for Brazilian Independence day, held by Pacha in New York city. The font and glow on the front complement each other well, with the layout being very pleasing to the eye.
